New Feature Notification

New Standard Feature
Active Delays At-a-Glance

When any workflow utilizes a delay, it effectively puts the process into a holding pattern.

It sits in a form of limbo waiting for the configured date/time to be reached and thus release the process to continue down its predefined path. Until now, it was difficult to determine how many and which process instances were in an active delay.

The new Active Delay At-a-Glance enhancement resolves this issue by providing users easy and quick access to active delays. This new dynamically generated display lists all active delays the user has security to view. The list includes the following details.

  • Process Name
  • Process Instance Data
  • Title of the Active Delay
  • The Trigger Date/Time of the Active Delay

It also includes an effective "Trigger Now" capability, which is a hyperlink that immediately releases the active delay.

Now you can find and release active delays in a much more effectively and time efficient manner.

Customer Announcement

HighOrbit Helps Green Demolitions Manage Donor and Inspection Processes in Support of Not-for-Profit Efforts at Recovery Unlimited

HighOrbit Corporation has signed Green Demolitions of Greenwich, CT as a client.

Green Demolitions, a recycler of luxury kitchens, estates and surplus items at 50-75% off retail, will use HighOrbit's Workflow Automation Solution to automate processes for collecting and reviewing donor information and facilitating the collection of home décor products. The company will also use business process management solutions to inspect donated items and schedule process flow related to tear-down and pick-up processes.

"Our business is burgeoning," said Lisa Feldman, donations manager for Green Demolitions, "and we had an immediate need to support our business growth by having the proper infrastructure in place. Our tracking process ranges from the time we receive an initial call from a donor to the time the product is inspected. Since each donor inquiry is unique, we were able to customize the process through HighOrbit, which is a significant improvement over our previous manual approach. Given the fact that there can be a lag time of three to six months between the time we receive a call and the time a product is ready for pick up, HighOrbit's workflow automation solution has simplified our day-to-day operations immensely."

According to HighOrbit's Brian Dwyer, the company's Workflow Automation Solution was developed to give companies greater control over the individual processes they rely on for the successful operation of their business. Clients use the web-based software solution for a diverse set of business processes from human resource management to sales, accounting and IT. "Businesses of any size or shape can benefit from the advantages of workflow automation, including: accountability, control and efficiency," he said.
