HighOrbit has always planned to integrate our BPM and Workflow Automation engine with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application. The centralization of a multitude of processes and related information into a universally accessible database & application was a natural evolution.
We did not want to create our own CRM system, since so many valid and reputable solutions existed. A long and detailed search ended with a decision to utilize the open source version of SugarCRM. It met all compatibility criteria and would allow us to maintain our commitment to low costs without sacrificing features.
Development has been ongoing for about a year and two beta sites are currently up and running successfully. A final release is expected within 60 days.
Once available, processes in HighOrbit, whether they are related to Leads/Prospects, Customers, Partners or Vendors, can integrate with SugarCRM and inherently provide a centralized repository of information and history that is accessible company wide. You will be able to build integration points into SugarCRM from within any process you design.

Weiland Financial Group
HighOrbit Corporation has signed The Weiland Financial Group, Inc. (WFG) of Bannockburn, Illinois as a client. Weiland Financial Group will be using HighOrbit's Workflow to automate a variety of business processes.
The Weiland Financial Group specializes in financial account management solutions for the financial community and 'Fortune 1000 corporations. Instrumental in popularizing the use of electronic account analysis statements, WFG systems have streamlined financial account management and related practices. Weiland offers a full range of web-based and client-server systems including support, training, outsourcing, and consulting.
WFG subscribed to HighOrbit to enable them to better fulfill their customers' complex and diverse needs. The system is also used to automate accounting and human resource processes.
