TOPIC: Signal parsing
#401
Signal parsing 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,
it is possible to assign signal (string representation) to some data element after gate match signal? It can be useful to have matched signal for parsing purposes.
I.e.: If you have a signal like this: 'CONTRACT-SIGNED-51289' and you want to parse '51289' (contract number) from matched signal for later processing. Is there any way to do it, or this post should be in 'Feature Requests' category?

Thank You

While it would be fairly easy to parse the "51289" out of a string, currently we do not have a way to access the actual signal that was passed in to the gate.

I like the idea, however, and can see how it would be useful. I will add this to our feature request list.
